1. Agreement
These terms govern cleaning services provided by Cleaning Master (“we”, “us”) to customers (“you”) in New York and New Jersey. By booking a service online, by phone or by signing a commercial agreement, you accept these terms.
2. Services and scope
Residential cleanings are performed to the checklist for the service level you select at booking. Commercial services are performed to the written scope in your account agreement. Work outside the agreed scope may require additional time and cost, which we will confirm with you before proceeding.
3. Pricing, tips and taxes
Residential prices are flat and based on bedrooms, bathrooms, service level, frequency, selected add-ons and date. The total shown before you confirm includes applicable discounts and excludes sales tax and optional tips, which are itemized separately. Commercial pricing is set per square foot and frequency in your agreement.
4. Payment
Residential services are charged to the payment method on file after the visit is completed. Commercial accounts are invoiced on the schedule in the agreement. Unpaid balances may pause service and may be subject to collection costs permitted by law.
5. Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations
Arrival windows are estimates and may shift with traffic and building access. Rescheduling or cancelling at least 24 hours before your window is free. Changes inside 24 hours, lockouts and no-access visits may incur a late-cancellation fee because staff time is already committed.
6. Access, valuables and pets
You are responsible for providing accurate access instructions and for securing cash, jewelry, firearms, irreplaceable items and confidential documents before a visit. Please disclose pets and any handling instructions. We may decline or leave a job site if conditions are unsafe, including infestation, biohazards or hostile behavior.
7. Satisfaction and claims
If work does not meet the checklist, contact us within 48 hours of the visit and we will return to correct it at no charge. Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours with photographs so we can investigate and, where we are responsible, repair or reimburse in line with our insurance coverage.
8. Service personnel
Our cleaners are background-checked and trained by us. Cleaning Master assigns and may substitute cleaning personnel for any visit at its sole discretion, including reassigning a recurring visit to another trained member of our team briefed on your checklist and preferences. Requests for a specific cleaner are accommodated when scheduling allows but are not guaranteed.
You agree not to solicit or directly hire members of our cleaning team for cleaning work outside of Cleaning Master while they work with us and for twelve months afterward.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for that service, except where our insurance provides greater coverage for property damage or injury. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear from normal cleaning of aged surfaces, or items in a condition disclosed to us as fragile.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will post the revised version on this page. Services are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance.
